Forest Bathing - September 19th
Immerse yourself in the forest - breathe, feel, listen, and reconnect with nature!
Service Description
As the days grow shorter and the forest begins to change, autumn invites us to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature. π Join me for a Forest Bathing experience inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku - a slow, mindful immersion in nature designed to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and restore inner balance. Together, we'll wander through the woodland at a gentle pace, guided by simple sensory invitations that help us notice the colours, sounds, textures, and scents of the autumn forest. We'll take time to pause, breathe, and appreciate the quiet beauty of the changing season, reconnecting with nature and with ourselves. There is no hiking and no pressure to achieve anything. Just mindful walking, moments of stillness, and an opportunity to slow down. Along the way, we'll explore the fascinating world of trees, plants, fungi, and the subtle changes that make autumn one of the most beautiful times of year to be in the forest. We'll finish with a grounding herbal tea ceremony, giving you time to reflect and carry a little of the forest's calm with you as you return to everyday life.
