Mushroom Nature Walk 22nd October

Service Description

A circular walk in Vale of Clara to boost your connection with nature. During this walk, you will learn about the importance of being in nature and some facts about local mushrooms and its connection to native tree species, lichens (which are part fungi) as bioindicators of air pollution, Irish biodiversity and many more. Nature connection walk is designed to help you notice nature and learn about important aspects of native woodlands and biodiversity. During this walk, there will be time for stopping, and slowing down to contemplate how nature's connection correlates with our well-being. It is a group experience, with max participants of 12 people. Experience suitable for all ages and abilities. The hike will be led by a qualified Lowland Leader and researcher botanist. This is an easy access walk. ***Please note, that during this walk we will not pick mushrooms.***
