Forest Bathing Experience - May 2nd
Dive into the forest with all the senses to reconnect with nature!
Service Description
Feeling stretched thin? Constantly juggling work, family, and endless to-do lists? This is your invitation to pause and step gently into the forest. Join me for a Forest Bathing experience, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku — a slow, mindful immersion in nature designed to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and restore inner balance. During our time together, we’ll move at a gentle pace, guided by simple sensory invitations that help you notice the sights, sounds, textures, and scents of the forest. You’ll reconnect with the rhythm of nature and with yourself, allowing the quiet presence of the woodland to support deep relaxation and reflection. No hiking. No pressure. Just mindful walking, breathing, and being present. Along the way, we may explore the trees, plants, and natural rhythms of the forest, discovering subtle details that are often overlooked in everyday life. We’ll conclude with a grounding herbal tea ceremony, giving you a moment to settle, reflect, and carry the calm and connection of the forest with you as you return to daily life. What to expect: Gentle, guided sensory exercises to connect with nature Mindful walking and pauses to tune into your surroundings Opportunities to notice trees, plants, and the subtle rhythms of the forest Time for reflection and grounding in nature A calming herbal tea ceremony to conclude the session After booking your spot, you will receive an email with directions to the meeting point and tips on how to prepare for the walk. The experience is led by a certified Forest Bathing Guide (Nádúr Center for Integrative Forest Therapy), qualified Lowland Leader (Mountaineering Ireland) and professional Botanist (Trinity College Dublin), Dr Kamila Kwasniewska. This is a group session. Maximum number of participants is 15 people. Cost: €35 per person · €55 for two people Reviews from previous participants: "I had a great time forest bathing with Kamila’s guidance, which was clear and helped me me connect with the life in the forest around me. I really needed an experience like this to ground me and help me relax after feeling burnt out from uni and living in the city, with all the constant noise and stress. Fortunately the guidance and activities we did enhanced the experience of calm and connectedness I felt beyond what I would feel on a regular hike, so I can say with certainty that forest bathing with Kamila is a unique experience that I would recommend." - Gordon K. - April 2024
