Join us this Samhain for a nourishing day in nature, marking the transition into the darker half of the year in one of Ireland’s most beautiful landscapes. Samhain traditionally marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter – a time to slow down, turn inward and reflect as nature enters its quieter season. Together, we will honour this ancient seasonal transition by reconnecting with nature and taking some time away from the busyness of everyday life. Our day begins with a gentle mindful hike through the forest, incorporating elements of forest bathing and mindfulness. We’ll pause along the way to notice the changing landscape, autumn colours, trees, fungi and the signs of nature preparing for winter. After the walk, we’ll gather by the fire for herbal tea, reflection and journaling – a chance to slow down, look back on the season behind us and make space for the quieter months ahead. 🔥🍂 We will then relax and restore with a private sauna session by the river in Glendalough, followed by an optional cold river dip. 🗓️ Date: Sunday, 1st November 📍 Location: Derrybawn & Glendalough, Wicklow ⏰ Time: 10am–4pm 💰 Price: €45 per person or only €80 for two!
